Full Review of The Product

Cuisinart WAF-F20 Waffle Maker

If you are looking for a waffle maker that makes 2 delicious Belgian waffles at the same time, then look no further! Below we will discuss the design, performance, and unique features of the Cuisinart WAF-F20 waffle makers.

The Design

The Cuisinart WAF-F20 model weighs a substantial 13 lbs., a bit heavier than similar devices. The benefit of the extra weights is that it won’t tip over easily during use.

The device comes with a rotary handle. It flips each waffle 180 degrees to ensure even cooking on the top and bottom. Besides its rotary feature, this double waffle maker also comes with 6-setting browning knob control (to ensure the waffles are cooked to perfection) and non-stick, BPA-free grids for the waffles.

To notify users that their waffles are ready for serving, the device has two LED indicator lights and audio alert tones. The audio alert beeps 3X to notify that the waffles are done.

Ease of Use and Performance

The primary function of buying a double waffle maker is its ability to deliver two delicious waffles at the same time. If you have a large family and limited time, it’s definitely helpful to bake waffles at twice the speed. Besides speed, it’s also unbelievably easy to use. Even beginners will be able to prepare waffles with relative ease.

To use the device, you first need to pour the batter into the unit. There are 6 different settings to cook the waffles to your likings, from light and fluffy to crisp and brown. The waffle maker also comes with step-by-step instructions. If you follow these instructions, it will make the whole waffle making process a lot easier.

Baking waffles with this machine is fast and effortless. This Cuisinart double Belgian waffle maker heats up within 5 minutes. 3 minutes max and you will have two evenly-baked waffles to enjoy. You won’t have to deal with hot or cold spots thanks to the rotary feature. We have had no problems with the flip feature of the device; there’s no pushing or dragging needed.

You do have to experiment a little at first to understand what baking setting you prefer. As a rule, if you want something light with just the right amount of golden-brown tint and crispy texture, you should opt for the number 4 setting. The non-stick properties of the waffle maker gained positive points as well. The waffles slipped easily from the device to our plates. No need to use butter or any of those non-stick baking sprays.

Cleaning up is also easy and quite a relief. At first, it may seem a bit awkward to clean the grids, but it’s actually easy since the plate at the bottom catches spills diligently. When the waffles are done, you will see a LED indicator light and also hear audio beeping sounds.

Essential Features

To sum up the aspects of the Cuisinart WAF-F20 Double Belgian Waffle Maker, here are some of the most interesting features that the device presents:

• High-quality built and components
• Includes 2 non-stick cooking plates for creating two, deep-pocket waffles simultaneously
• Operates at a powerful 1400W

Some Extra Considerations

  • The device takes a while to cool down. So to be on the safe side of things, just enjoy your wafles and do the cleanup after you’re done eating.
  • The waffle plates are not removable. So if you tend to be very thorough about the cleanups, then this device might not be for you. That said, it’s easier to maintain compared to other similar models (thanks to its non-stick quality).
  • There are cheaper models on the market. But this waffle maker still costs less than 100$. For the quality that you will receive, we believe this is a real bargain.
  • If you’re looking for a recipe, we can recommend this Belgian waffle recipe.
